The built in paginator has been removed from edge Rails / Rails 2.0. If you rely on this functionality, you must install the classic_pagination plugin.

A better pagination plugin is will_paginate, but it is not drop in compatible with the old paginator. This excellent plugin moves pagination to the model and out of your controllers and views.
